So a question was raised the other day of what did you want to be as a kid? And since that question I have definitely been trying to think back. I remember at one point wanting to be an archaeologist. And I used to write A LOT, so I probably wanted to be a writer. I am curious what others wanted to be and how many of us pursue our childhood dreams.

I think a lot of times, fear or anxiety gets in the way of what we truly would like to do, say, or experience. So in light of that, I pose quandries today ( Read more... )

That's what they are calling it. The 5.2 quake that hit Illinois today @ 4:37 a.m. and the subsquent aftershock @ 10. For me, I was awakened to my bed shaking; a very strange feeling indeed. I think this is the only earthquake I remember feeling. It made me realize the Missourian and Illini don't really think about a quake happening. I do remember ( Read more... )

Started a new job doing what I used to: working with MR/DD. And the other interesting part is that I am now doing what I used to bitch about doing at my last job. Well hey at least I am getting paid for it now.

So far my job has consisted of a lot of training, an interesting field trip, and a Cards game, so not too shabby so far.
