I am ever so lucky to work for the state of RI (thats whole 'nother note). As such, I work in a municipal building, which houses more than one agency/office. In my buildling there is the Registry of Motor Vehicles, the Traffic Court and until recently, the Unemployment office (it closed about a year ago) amongst other smaller offices.

I have been charged with bringing dessert to Christmas Eve festivities. I made 6 dozen ginger snaps during the snow storm on Saturday. The smell of molasses/giner cooking is TOTALLY a comfort scent for me.... Today I made hermits. Both of these were made using my grandmother's recipes. Its not quite 9pm and there's a good foot of snow outside, and its still coming down. Its Maahvelous out there!

Have a christmas party tonight. Tried on the skirt I wanted to wear.... yeah, no go. Funny thing is that I dragged my grandmother's watch out to wear, and its got the elastic thing, and I figured that it would be all tight. nope, it fits just fine...... Tonight is my High School's 15th reunion. Im not going. I have no desire to go. Is that bad of me? There's a pretty big number of classmates who are still in the Boston area and are still in regular contact with one another, so tonight is a great chance for them to get out (ditch the kids if applicable) and have a fun night out.
