i just broke ANOTHER glass.
i've broken two wine glasses, three drinking glasses, and a gigantic glass lamp in the last 3 weeks. this is getting ridiculous. when i put it in the trash, i noticed that there were already TWO OTHERS in the bin.
until 3 weeks ago, i'd only broken one glass in the last 3+ years. wtf. -

i just watched an X-files trailer on TV. (Side note- If I even think the word TV, I picture cwistopher going "tvtvtvtvtvtvtvtvtvtv" in sign language...so....picture with me...) in contrast to canada's workplace videos, i just watched an ABSTINENCE ONLY sex ed advert brought to you by our motherfucking dhhs. it's a good thing that all of the study results that say that abstinence only sex ed doesn't work were pulled off the CDC website. otherwise people might think that politics were dictating science. -

i am terribly impressed with the canadian wsib's TV spots on workplace safety. youtube "wsib" and you'll see what i mean. some of them have actually been tagged as "18 & over only." yet another reason to move to canada.

I have a dilemma. A work-related dilemma. So. My company offers a $25 gift certificate if you fill out the Mayo Clinic's health survey. You fill in crap about your weight, eating habits, cholesterol, blah blah, and they tell you if you're healthy. Sounds fine, right? Well.
