Why does summer have to be so unbearably warm and also during winter?

I left a brand new (and pretty cool fiction) book on a counter in a public area for 3 days and it was in the exact same spot I'd left it when I came looking for it.

I don't know if I should be proud of this college's respect for personal property or shocked at the complete disinterest in literacy.
