I have had a lovely mother's day today - lie in until 10.30 (!!!) then breakfast in bed (not just any breakfast in bed - pancakes and maple syrup which, according to Ellie, is the best breakfast in the world).  We went swimming with Ellie who showed me her 'frog legs' 'circle arms' and 'push off and glide'.  It's amazing (to me anyway) that she is ( Read more... )

With it being winter (cold, wet and all that) I'd not been down to Rowntree Park with Ellie for quite a few months.  We went today, and I had that whole cornflakes "have you forgotten how good this is" thing....
