Insulting woman

I've had rude customers before but this woman is the rudest I've served in quite a while. I believe the reason she was rude is because she had to wait in a queue for about a minute while I served the woman in front of her, because I noticed her huffing and puffing and looking at her watch. Even so, I don't believe her having to wait warranted this

When I speak to a rude or abusive customer on the phone, I end the call by thanking them and adding, "You've been an absolutely delight!" in a sunny voice. Right before I disconnect the call.

WOW. WHAT.A.BITCH!! You did the right thing by killing her with kindness at the end. That's really the only thing you can do to customers like that.
