I was at an animal shelter last week looking to adopt and following up with a dog when someone came in to drop off a cat.
The woman kept insisting that she knew (someone who doesn't even work there anymore) and that it was all worked out. She got offended when they asked for some sort of ID and just kept insisting that she talked to someone (who doesn't work there anymore) and everything was "worked out".
Until we had some member changes on our board of directors, we had one person, who if called, would tell the person trying to drop off an animal(s) to 'give them my name and tell them I said to take the animal(s)' Which is how I ended up with 95 cats....and only forty cages
