Things are going incredibly well for me. I am so, so glad I made the decision to up and move from the safety and comfort of my home, and into the wild unknown. Even though I'm not working a particularly fulfilling/creative/interesting job, I really can't complain. Le job
First day of work was a success! I arrived on time *phew* and got right to training.... which was pretty much just learning how to put sandwiches together. I pretty much have that down pat heh. Frustration
I'm getting frustrated at how much money I'm having to spend. And I don't mean on rent and food, I mean on things that I had at home but don't here. I've had to buy cooking supplies, toiletries, hangers.... The worst has been commission/sewing supplies. My sewing machine's thread holder broke off in transit, so I had to buy a thread cone holder. So it appears that billions of people from my past are in NYC. I posted a pic of my view on facebook and a girl I knew in high school, Lina, saw it and notified me that she too is living in NYC.
