Plate Mail,

Anyone know where to buy Plate ARmour, spefically Articlated thigh and knee joints?

I've borrowed some and i love them! so want some my self...

Primal Forge seem quite popular for plate, dunno if they do articulated bits though.
There will doubtless be ones for sale at the re-enactment faire next month though, you could get cards if nothing else.

Saddly they don't seem to do good sets. was looking last night and just not haveing much joy.

Saddly they don't do them either, its seems place have issues with makeing them for some reason, the frist one sam said is good, full leg for £250. pretty happy with that.

Personally I'd always go for custom-made with leg armour, having seen the bruises & chafing my friend Simon always gets with his plate legs. That said, I believe that the Lancaster finish-em-yourself legs allow for a fair bit of customisability.

I know a nice armourer in leeds. very nice bespoke stuff!

By the way, what doyou mean by "Plate Mail".

There is plate armour, scale armour, and there is mail (from the French Maille, definately not called chain mail.) but not plate mail. Is this a LARPism?????
