2010 Roll up

Wow, I can't believe I actually wrote 7 (8, if you count in my entry for the winter hg_seasonsfest) stories in 2010. I even managed to finish a multi-chaptered one!

I had a writing slump right after Deathly Hallows came out, since I couldn't seem to wrap my head around the fact that all these characters suddenly got bumped off. (Tonks, Hedwig, Fred! *sob*) And ( Read more... )

Good for you! And you did a lot of challenges for catchmysnitch, which is much appreciated.

I hope 2011 will be another good year for you and H/G!

Being accepted into the catchmysnitch community was a landmark event for me, Mary. Plus your challenges were what really got my muse going. :)

Thanks, Kathy. I owe a lot to hg_seasonsfest too, for challenging me to write again.

You have written so many good stories this year, I'd be hard-pressed to chose a favorite if you hadn't written the Potter Weasley Caravan one for me at Seasons Fest. So it is, obviously, the best.

I loved writing that one for you, GK. I think a big part of the fic exchange is trying to come up with something that your recipient will actually like, so I'm very glad that you liked it so much.

Have I told you recently how much I *love* your sense of humor? Because I do. I can't think of "honey, I shrunk my..." or "win a date" without breaking out into fits of giggles. I would kill to have 1/8 of your skill at writing humor, I truly would. :-)

Oh, you make me blush. A big part of the joy (and torture) in my writing process is trying to come up with stories that will make people smile, and laugh out loud, if possible, so thanks, you, for saying that you break out in giggles just by thinking of the stories.
