Headed to a BBQ today, thought I would try this recipe for French Potato salad by Ina Garten I had been eyeing. Really, that was the plan but I evolved a long way away from the recipe. Oh I'll have to hang onto this one! I don't like mayo and most potato salad recipes call for mayo it seems. But yours uses bacon, scallions, and potatoes -- all ingredients I love.

I don't like mayo very much either. I love vinegar/oil based potato salads. German salads with the mustard are good too.
