Looks like a promising recipe. I love Alton Brown. I have some rendered lard in my fridge but hadn't decided what to do with it. Thinking about giving this a try but without a food processor, I'm worried it won't be so easy peasy...
So have you been having more free time to cook lately?
Do you have a pastry cutter? You could definitely do it that way. Or my mom used to cut it in with 2 butter knives (I am not coordinated enough to do this myself but it is definitely doable).
I am making more time to cook; my life the last 18 months got horribly out of balance (working way too much) so I have made a conscious decision to rebalance it, and eating well (and taking better care of myself in general) is part of that.
No pastry cutter but I've been thinking of getting one. I don't bake that often but maybe (just maybe) I'd bake more if it were easier? Not sure. I just use a knife and fork in the meantime. Glad to see you making the time to cook for yourself. I like seeing your recipes!
