I'm sure he meant it in the nicest way.

Today I asked Sarena if some boy she was talking to at school was her boyfriend. She ROLLED HER EYES at me and said "he is not cute enough to be my boyfriend, but maybe he will be someday" as if she was being nice to him now because maybe she could cash in on it later? Brilliant.
