It's bordering on epic. I've lived in this area for almost 15 years now, and I cannot remember anything like this.

Good to know! There's no way we're staying somewhere without off-street parking for another winter, but good to know that fleeing to California is still optional rather than mandatory.

Really
Bad
Winter

I've spent most of my life in the northeast, and this is one of the worst pummelings i've seen -- usually there's a lot more time between storms where you can just enjoy the prettiness of the snow without cursing all the shoveling and bad driving conditions.

Thank you. In my limited dataset of three winters in Boston, in the other two the snow always *melted* before we got another one. Which, you know, is fine and well and good. This winter is none of those.

Insane. Like, crazy bad. And I live in Savoy, I know from bad winters. This is off-the-charts bad.

This has been an insanely unprecedented winter. I've been living here since 1992, and I've never seen anything like this.

Ok, good. Maybe Boston and I can still work something out in that case. ;)

Seriously. This is several times the usual amount of snow/storm. I read an article last night in the local paper which explained that one month in to winter, we'd already gotten a WHOLE WINTER'S WORTH of snow. I...don't even know what to do with that!

I saw you mention that! And even so, it's good to hear not only "this is much more snow than usual" but "this may be the New Flood."
