that's just silly. community college is college. it's the same stuff i was taking at a regular university. but i get that it is like looked down on idk. i can't wait to get my 4 year degree. but going somewhere and getting a 2 year is just a stepping stone to me. i think it's smarter than going straight into university like i did in the first place and fucking up like i did.
It just irritates me that a lot of the customers at the restaurant who are older will say thing like "when are you going to college?" and shit like that. I'm already in college and it kind of hurts that they don't think I'm getting an education. Of course ALL of my family is supportive of my choice, including crazy older relatives so I don't know why those few people who think that way bother me so much.
I also know that if I had gone straight to a 4-year uni and moved onto campus and all of that shit I probably would have dropped out by now so this was the right thing to do.
I probably should stay another year and actually get my associates but at this point I'm ready to take the next step. I'm doing the dual enrolment thing, so I'll see how that works out.
