When I look at everything going on in my life from an objective standpoint, things really aren't all that terrible for me at the moment, but being stuck in the middle of it I am feeling incredibly, hopelessly alone and unneeded. -

My family is in town this weekend because the restaurant is going to be 10 years old on Tuesday and we're having a party to celebrate. I'm used to seeing lots of them when I visit or they come down here and I just feel like I'm missing out on everything because of my shitty work schedule. I'm 21 today! We went out to breakfast at the restaurant this morning and I had my first legal mimosa (all other mimosas I have had were given to me by my mother when I was like...12+ I might add), and then the cooks tried to give me a waffle topped with a shot glass full of bourbon. So tonight was filled with crazies at work. Like, straight up batshit insane people and I was stuck talking with them because Molly is kind of sick and didn't want to deal so she stayed away from behind the counter. I'm feeling a lot better. I was having a excriciating headaches for the last four days, but my headache is gone and the pressure is mostly gone. I was going to go to the doctor's, but since I woke up feeling miraculously I didn't. I might buy meds specifically for sinuses in case this ever happens again, though ( Read more... ) -

I was supposed to go out tonight, but my ride has been deemed too drunk to come pick me up. I am quite bummed. I really want to hang out with Trista more. :(
