All right, so here are the results of the picture meme:
athenaps: "Take a picture of your front closet."
Well, since I wasn't really sure of the definition of a "front" closet (does that mean closest to the front door? and if so, what does that mean when my front door and my back door are parallel to each other and separated by only four feet? Does polar orientation matter? North, South, East, West? The fact that my front window looks out from the back of the building? etc), I've formed a collection to satisfy everyone.
The coat closet at the entrance/exit. As you can see, it is multi-purpose, serving not only as a depository for outerwear, but also recyclables and funny hats.
This is the storage closet in the front hall. In theory, it is a walk-in closet, supposing that if one were so inclined, one could in fact "walk in".

This is a shot of the bedroom closet, which permits you to make assumptions about me based on my wardrobe. Clearly, I am a lumberjack cowboy with a fetish for pinstripes.
ateji: "Show the best view in the place."
This was a tough call, but I interpreted "best view" as "most common view", which happens to be the view out my front window behind my tv.
It presents a delightful prospect of the garbage and parking lot.
Here's an idea of what the view looks like normally with my vampiric sensitivity to light.

This week's song was a toss-up. I had to choose between "Funny Little Frog" by Belle and Sebastian, or "Soul Meets Body" by Death Cab for Cutie. Ultimately Death Cab for Cutie won out, since "Funny Little Frog" is really just a funny little song that reminds me of high school.
"Soul Meets Body" is my favorite Death Cab for Cutie track. It is featured on their last full-length album Plans (2005).
According to their website: "To set the record straight, the band's name comes from a song performed by British jazz/rock/comedy combo the Bonzo Dog Doo Dah Band in the Beatles' Magical Mystery Tour film."

In other news, I lost my selfown sometime last night, either at work or on my way home from there. I've frozen the account though, so I'm not too bothered by it. I can get by for the next few days without a cell, and if it doesn't turn up I was planning on buying a new one anyway when my contract expired in September.
