2. Live near a farmer's market & a Trader Joe's which makes eating healthy foods very convenient.
3. Work yourself into a nearly daily panic which destroys your appetite.
4. When money runs low, convince yourself that Diet Pepsi and Twizzlers really can be a delicious dining

Last weekend was pretty great! I loved having Susan here! I think I already updated about Friday and Saturday, so I'll start with Sunday.

 Susan's visiting and we've spent the last couple of days doing touristy stuff around Philly. Yesterday, we went to the Ben Franklin Science Museum, which was directed mainly a kids, but was still really cool. There was a neat planetarium. eeeee I've been so productive today! I managed to take the trolley/subway to school. I made a new friend there. His name is George and he also goes lives in West Philly and goes to Temple. And his wife is from Minnesota, so I might have another midwest contact!  I got my Temple ID. I fixed all of my financial aid issues with a very kind lady in the ( Read more... )

My bed was delivered. Kind of. They brought the mattress and the frame up but they brought the wrong kind of box spring, so it wouldn't fit through the door. But at least now I can sleep on the mattress, which is WAY more comfortable than the couch! The box spring will be delivered, correctly, on Monday ( Read more... )
