It's not nearly the same as your experience, since yours was totally life-changing and inspiring, and mine was more necessity...

but I got a similar feeling going back to my old high school. The year after I left it was added onto and completely renovated. Everything is moved around and stark-white and huge-hallwayed... entirely NOT where I went to school. I was there for a good 7 years (the middle school is next to the high school, so you have some classes in the high school even then), and now, quite suddenly, it's so not the same. So it's like that time back in my hometown, with a certain group of people in a certain space, is lost and gone forever, only to live in my memories (and those of others who were there with me). It's kind of bizarre how the absence of a space--a physical, maybe not even pleasant, space--can really bring home how a certain time in your life is past.

Are you thinking of going back to NTC at its new location at all, or no?

~Blue Hugs~

I've had a few times where I felt like that, too...whether it was because someplace was closing, moving, remodeling, or if I were leaving it...

I can't blame you for feeling that was, because you end up with sentimental ties with that place, whether you can help it or not.

Keep your chin up, though-hopefully you can get in contact with that place...^_^
