Random bits of oddness

This morning just before 3:00 AM, I was abruptly woken by a super intense stinging pain on the back of my arm, a few inches up from my elbow. The pain continued to escalate so I jerked my arm away from where it was near the pillows and sat up to turn on the lamp and look. Didn't see anything there on the bed, but by this time the stinging sensation

is the pain localized? like it's just on the arm? maybe its a nerve like ariel said. but usually nerve pain is like shooting down a limb or sharp or aching pain. not so much burning? i dont know. trying to implement my knowledge LOL but its not working. its weird that theres no swelling or redness. i guess that could be a good thing too. hahaha! i hope it goes away!
