Updated at cayost with a couple quick photos from Open Studio. (I can't get a flickr photo to go behind a cut tag to save my life.) Not a lot of traffic today on Mother's Day, though I'm still glad I went ahead and did this, especially getting the work finished in the first place.

I need to rewrite my artist statement to sound less MFA-ey and I'm going to try to work most of that in, or at least the part about identity.

I'm going to leave them hanging up for a while. Weird that I never thought before of hanging my own stuff on the walls.
