How about Merwins Wharf? The new metroparks restaurant on the West Bank of the flats. I haven't been yet but the menu looked good.
We love XYZ tavern in Gordon Square especially for the chicken n waffles and bloody Mary's.
Black Pig in Ohio City is great too.

I dislike XYZ. The one time I was there it was very mediocre.
Black Pig is in the same boat as Crop; good but not special.
Will consider Merwin's Wharf.
Also, learned about Edwin's in Shaker Square.

Recommend swapping Don's Lighthouse and Pier W priorities. Also, would bump L'Albatros up to High, I was very impressed with food, atmosphere, and service when we went.

I'll also volunteer to join you for one (or more) of these. Especially where there are happy hour specials :)

I'm always happy to have dinner with you, but it's such a pain to get off work in time to reach happy hour.

Unless I make an effort, I get in late and leave late. Throw in dog walking or cycling to work and it's easily past 7pm.
