Eating Out Eighteen - Closing Out the Calendar
I have to admit that when I started this series, I didn't think it would take 18 different posts to catalog all the places I ate out in 2015. For that matter, I didn't think it would take 14 months past the end of 2015 just to list them all. This last post has all the places from my Thanksgiving travels to the end of the year. Subsequent posts will attempt to draw insightful conclusions so as to justify why I did this in the first place.
297. Thursday, December 3 - Chipotle in Fairview. Somebody bought the gaming group burritos.
298. Friday, December 4 - Crave. A bunch of us went to see Jessica Hernandez and the Deltas at Musica in Akron and met for dinner at Crave beforehand. As of this date, Crave was still very good.
299. Sunday, December 6 - University Circle Coffeehouse - Back in college, this was an Arabica Coffeehouse. One of the kids at the radio station asked me for some advice (yes, really), and we met there after my show to talk it out. He even took my advice, how bizarre.
300. Monday, December 7 - Hyland Bistro. I do not recall why I bought lunch at work.
301. Tuesday, December 8 - Barleyhouse. EJ and I caught The Arcs At Akron Civic and grabbed a bite to eat down the street before the show.
302. Wednesday, December 9 - Korea House. gieves and I saw Sleater-Kinney at the House of Blues, and had food at Korea House prior.
303. Wednesday, December 9 - HOB. We drank beer at the show. It was overpriced House of Blues beer. Such is life.
304. Saturday, December 12 - Hyland Holiday Party. It was the big ridiculous (albeit not as ridiculous as years past) work Christmas party!
305. Sunday, December 13 - Town Hall - My friend Danita picked up a degree, and we celebrated at Town Hall.
306. Friday, December 18 - Li Wah - I took my team at work out for Dim Sum for the holidays. The new kid gamely tried chicken feet.
307. Friday, December 18 - Town Hall - And then we got drinks after Dim Sum. It's odd that I was there twice in a week.
308. Tuesday, December 22 - Deja Brew - I was visiting Ryan in Dayton, and we stopped here for lunch. They were having kitchen issues, so we settled for a beer.
309. Tuesday, December 22 - Song's Sushi - Our second try for lunch was a pretty solid sushi place near Wright Patterson Air Force Base.
310. Thursday, December 24 - Quaker Steak & Lube. I met jackofmany and his girlfriend for wings before we saw The Hateful 8 in glorious 70mm at the theater across the parking lot.
311. Friday, December 25 - Hunan East - Jewish people go to the movies and eat Chinese food on Christmas. The movie was The Good Dinosaur, and it was far inferior to the Chinese food we had afterwards.
312. Sunday, December 27 - Tommy's - pussygalore66 was in town, so we went to Tommy's, as is our habit.
313. Tuesday, December 29 - Luchita's Mexican Restaurant - pussygalore66 was also randomly at Luchita's when I walked in, but I was actually there to see babymonkey and mishamish, who were in from Germany. I am reliably informed that good corn chips are impossible to obtain in Cologne. zoethe joined us.
