How many people do you know who don't have at least one kid by choice? I can't really think of any. Not any of my friends anyway. Why is this? Do you think everyone wants to have a child of their own? Do you think they feel like they HAVE to? It's expected of them? It's what society and their family thinks they should do

First of all when I read your title and the first sentence I thought you were going to say that you don't know anyone who doesn't have at least one parasite...like bugs!! EEEWW, I was like, what is she talking about??? But um, ya, not what you meant

I get why people would have one b/c all that love bullshit, but it's why they want the first one that I wonder about. I remember my BT (that's boytoy, haha) asked me one time if the reason I didn't want kids was b/c of the way I grew up. Like not in a loving family. I responded that that's the reason I think I would WANT them. So I could have the family I didn't have. To share the love. To share the traditions. To create a family setting. I guess that's why growing up I always wanted three kids. But no way Jose, don't want three now. Ha! But ya, I guess I will cross the baby bridge decision when I have to. And when I do, I will say, "My friend Yanira is making me have one!"

I think people want the first one because they start to feel that love "bullshit" when they look at other kids. I started to get that lovey feeling when I looked at certain kids, not all of them just ones I thought were super cute. I would think, aaw this kid makes me feel so happy, my own will make me feel even more happy. That and also the reasons you said, to create a family.
And no, you can't blame me for you having a kid because I only really want you to have one if YOU really want to have one.
