That sounds beautiful! I have a celtic triangle tattoo, you know, on the back of my neck. It's not nearly that intricate, though... pretty plain actually. Your idea is wonderful, though.
On placement: the ribcage is generally agreed to be the most painful place to get a tattoo. The back doesn't hurt too badly and has a very nice aesthetic, I think, but you don't see it very often. I have two on my back. One I can only see if I crane my neck around while standing in front of a mirror, the other I can't see at all unless I have a hand mirror to look behind me in (and I don't have a hand mirror, so the only time I get to see it is when I go to my parents' house.) This can be kind of cool, because when you do get to see it you say "Wow! I have a neat tattoo!" It can also be kind of sad, though, 'cause you don't get to see it every day.
Thanks for replying. I am seriously trying to get this idea out of my head and onto paper...and b/c I can't draw...and there really isn't anything exactly like it on the internet, it's plaguing me. Yeah, I remember your celtic triangle and ohm tattoos. I need something seriously hidden. I need something that allows me to be completely professional. I love the back of the neck, but alas, I know that I have my hair up enough to rule this tatt out for that area. If I do something on my back I want it to be completely hidden, in say, a backless wedding gown hypothetically. LOL. Rib cage sounds cool to me b/c I don't have all that many places on my body that have large areas of smooth, unflabby, skin. Sigh*
Meanwhile, I can't get this outta my friggen head...

Cool thing I live with an artist. He thinks he may be able to put my words and clips of things from pictures into something real. Who knows how long it'll take him, but it will give me time to let the idea stew, suppose.
Glad I could crack you up. Seriously, I know chunky squishy people like me have tatts, but I need it to stay well hidden in professional and formal environments, but I still want it. I'm weird, I know. A lot of people get em to show off, I want mine for me...maybe to remind me of who I am when I forget it. LOL.

I have been told by an almost 100 tatooed man that over the heart actually hurts the most.
As for location on you. What about hip bone?
