I found a scent! Me, the perfume-disliking, very-picky-about-smells gal has found a perfect scent for my chemistry, and I'm totally tickled by the description from the web site (the emphasis is mine):

Bask in euphoria. Vibrantly sheer, bright, and luminous with lotus blossom, waterlily, amber and sheer sandalwood. Domestic.Fragrance type: floral ( Read more... )

We should start a packaging appreciation society. NAPE!

It totally lives up to the description too! It has a nice nostalgic flare to its bright aroma, as well -- I think it's the hint of rose.

OT..well, and a little on.. mawychick October 16 2008, 02:06:01 UTC
okay, so the on topic first: after reading the perfume description I started to think that I needed some! And I don't wear perfume! The next time I'm by VS I will check that scent out!

and OT:

I dreampt last night you had your own little crafty shop! (shoppe if you like) - Okay, it was more of an aside in my dream..which was mostly about a tornado. But during the mad escape from a tornado we were for some reason hiding in your shop(pe) (why that's a safe haven from tornadoes I have no idea - my crazy dreams are all SORTS of crazy) and for some reason my friend Emilie was there and I tried to introduce her to you and she was like, "Oh, I know cyntergomes, I shop here all the time!!" Yeah. Crazy. But at least you had your own store!

What a great dream! I often have tornadoes show up in my dreams too. Oh, man, and I'd totally love to have my own little shop one day. :)

Hey, you've been really quiet for a long time. Is everything okay?

Thank you for asking cyntergomes October 30 2008, 13:46:59 UTC
I'm mostly doing fine. I'm having a bit of anxiety trouble this fall, and due to silliness on my part for not wanting to filter LJ -- I just haven't logged on, like in ages. I hope to be back soon though and catch up with everyone...I miss lots of people here, but the hundreds of posts every couple of days are overwhelming to me right now. On a positive note: I am knitting up a storm, hiking just about every weekend with my wonderful professor fella, getting excited about macro photography of mosses and lichens, having great fall adventures and volunteering for Obama...so things are mostly fine -- it's just this pesky anxiety and sleep trouble that's kicking my butt a little. Well, and this weird LJ-phobia I've hatched.

I hope you and your family are doing well! I'd really hoped to be able to head back to San Fran this fall, but I'm probably not going to be able to afford it until spring. Seeing San Fran friends and then Yosemite in the spring sounds pretty great to me though!

Hi! I hope it's ok that I added you as a friend. I found you through Punk Knitters and you seemed really cool.
