I came to work today feeling jittery from spending all morning on the phone with my husband and niece, only to get a call from the assistant manager. "have you heard anything?", he asks. Oh god. I made this!
Watching Boardwalk Empire and talking about prohibition in history class and then watching a show about bootleggers, moonshiners and rumrunners got this song stuck in my head but no one had uploaded it to youtube so I made my own danged video! It was easier than I expected. I may make more. -
Note to self:
When there's a ton of shit to get done and you have to concentrate on researching for two papers due on the same day, don't answer the call from your dad.
When you're in a good mood and want to keep it, don't answer the call from your dad.
When you've finally calmed down from the last time you talked to dad, don't answer the call from dad.

oh wow. I haven't been here in a really long time. Looking through my friends page is like stepping back in time to when I first moved to Oregon and was on LJ all the time, trying to stay in touch with my Florida friends. I guess I should probably mention that I'm unemployed now and have been for the last month. I think I told everyone else but forgot LJ for some reason. Thanks to everyone for all their helpful and supportive comments. It's all good. I'm crafty; I'll figure something out.
