This is such a great, complicated take on them fumbling their way to this realization. Love that Steve wanted him from the beginning - because I SO think that's true - and that Danny didn't realize he wanted it but did - true also :D And I love the anxious circling, the half sentences, the pokes and prods as they test each other and then they're still side by side at the end. So great!

I love how complicated you make Danny's state of mind here, because of course there would be a whole lot going on in his head after all of that! And of course Steve wants to be there for him, so much (and of course he would pout about "You never in a million years thought about me that way?" afterward).

YES. That was awesome and sad and hot and funny. I love the fact Steve's expecting Danny to freak out and Danny's answer is just so... him. Really, thank you so much for this brilliant fic!

That was awesome! I loved the characterization and the banter (and of course, they'd talk even when they're busy that way. That's just so them).
