I engaged in putting up the Christmas decorations at my house this weekend. I love the scent of a fresh Christmas tree but a couple of years ago opted for a small fake one. What a wonderful surprise to come home today to find my roof and ceiling fixed and a wonderful new addition to my porch .. a roof over it! At no cost! This weekend we replaced the floor boards of my porch. We didn't change it much except that now it looks bigger. It would appear that we have been forgotten by the Parish for picking up the debris - so little by little we are hauling it from the curb to the burn pile and just torching it. Today will be a busy day at my house. My insurance adjuster is coming back to view additional damages I found. The contractor I hired will be coming by to give me estimates on the damages to my walls. Which, by the way, are beginning to smell a little nasty probably due to a bit of mold growth. I found some buckling happening to the walls of my house. UGHS!
