Had a long post written and this stupid laptop selected something weird (HATE this trackpad) and my post was gone. LJ didn't save any of it. GRRRR.

Did you try making a new post and answering yes when it asks you something like "restore saved draft?"

Yes, but it brought up the beginning of an old post for some reason. Argh.

Oh bummer. That little trick has saved me countless times.
I hate that you can't save drafts on LJ like you can on Blogger.

that happens to me all the time, and it never saves it when i need it to.

I do that with my trackpad all the time. I'm always ctrl-z'ing to get my text back.
