I quit more than three years ago but I really want one right now.

Counsellor said she needed some background information.

"C, are you on maternity leave....?"

"No, I'm home full time. Lauren is 2.5"

"Where is she now?"

"With my parents for a little vacation with Grammie and Grampy"

"Why?"

"To give me a break. To help

I read this yesterday but had to come back and just say wow. I mean, maybe part of the way to address your issues to say, give yourself a break however you can (day care, whatever) but to act like it's the only answer. There are too many ways to be right in parenting, I wouldn't tolerate a counselor who couldn't see that either.
