Other than being far too soon before the lovely B&V Winter Solstice special, no reasons spring to mind. Since you're not to use public transport for a month, it'll help to keep you safely out of homicidal Xmas and post-Xmas shopping crowds. The rest of us may end up with severe injuries due to this homicidal rush.

I may wheelchair down, or crutch maybe, and sit and watch the pretties. This I may do.

Ah hah hah - I get to do my christmas shopping over the internet!

Until I have money enough to feed myself and get public transport over short distances, I won't be doing *any* xmas shopping. No rush yet, but it'll be nasty if I have to leave it till late. I may make some jewellery for people, but it'll have to be on thread rather than plastic wire. Bah. I have no materials, else I'd experiment and see if I could make giftable pictures.

Ah. Try brush-ink? Ink is cheap, as are brushes...

then the problem of paper. Ah. I see the problem here.

Oh dear.

Sounds good.

The only bounding-about outdoors time you'd miss would be horrible and cold and dark best-suited-to-staying-indoors-with-tea time anyway.

How goes?

With double strength rocket engines and big fat monster truck wheels. Vroom.

I'd agree with everyone in as much as you won't have to deal with the cold/dark/christmas-shopper-hell of Outside.

One question though - would you be able to travel in time for NYE parties and such, or are you not interested in such frivolities?

How will the not-being-able-to-travel affect your festive plans, was what u meant?

Well, have taken this into account, but was canvassing opinions and wondering if there was anything glaring i'd missed.

Are you going to be able to quit smoking in sufficiently short time to make the 17th viable? If so, then I guess I'd go for "twere best done quickly" myself...

I adore that Icon.

I shall quit, I think, today or tomorrow, when the urge strikes.

Hopefully, this will again be soon enough after quitting codiene (again) for smoking to be not too bad. Yes.

Your text here usually does the trick, I find. In general, if you want to find out how any effect was achieved, use the "View Source" option in your browser (usually Ctrl-U) and search through the HTML code for the relevant bit.
