I'll be in DC in two days, for the SAAs. I have 2 committee meetings, 2 forum discussions, and 1 paper there. I may be helping my former advisor on some quick analyses for his SAA paper--if I can get something to him, I'll end up with a quick, unplanned authorship on that paper. It's so nice to read howl well you are doing - having a busy and full professional life and, as Dex wrote, making a name for yourself. Your time and investments in your education really has done ya proud!

Howl about yer off time and home life - what's happening there?

Well, to be honest, I don't have much free time these days. All the above is what I do in my free time--I also work full time as a tribal liaison. But I will write something up about home life and such soon. :)

PS-- it's great hearing from ya. Where the hell are you these days? You ever make it back to NM? Or road trip out this way?

It'll be great to hear where you and Cory live, what kind of place you two have, and where you work now. Howl about the furry and pup scene and life where you two now live? Howl often do you get to hang with the local furs and/or pups?

I'm doing okay - living here in California for the fall and winter after having returned to Grand Canyon National Park this past summer from a three year hiatus. I haven't been back to New Mexico since our summer visit there with our BFs back in 2010, but as for another road trip across the US, it has been a while since my last one - 2004 in fact - when I came out to Baylor University to see you!

Wow, you're busy! ... Good prep if you decide to join us faculty. ;-)

For teaching - have you sent in applications to adjunct. Heck, even the online schools like Southern New Hampshire University would give you experience (note that online = a *hell* of a lot of prep up front, but tend to be much easier once you prepared all of the material). Community colleges could also be a good source, esp if you can teaching multiple classes since they pick and choose what they need covered. Just some thoughts!
