dad brought home two giant live lobsters for dinner one time. i wanted to keep them in a tank as friendly little pets...but dad wanted to eat...so he won. and the lobsters were boiled to death in a big pot. i could hear them clawing at the side of the pot trying to get out, so i begged him to just put them out of their misery but he said it would ruin the taste. poor lobsters :(

That's awful, when you can hear the last little slivers of life as it is cooked out of them. Awful!

when my family would have our crawfish parties back in the day.. me and my cousins would steal a couple of crawfish before they cooked them and hid them in the fish tank... and only to see them gone an hour later. haha.. uh... whatever. sushi is yummy!

The waitress upon realizing we didn't really care to have our dinner staring back at us asks, "We can fry the head in the back, you can take it with you and eat it like a snack."

We thought to ourselves...or we can take it home and keep it as a pet.

I laughed so hard that I peed a little upon reading this... Hope all is going well.
