I'm excited again. I was excited and happy at the beginning of the school year, and then things seemed to drag and I got tangled up in stress and little bits of depression. I had a most fabulous fun weekend. A friend from boston was visiting new york so i took the train in saturday morning to meet him and two of his friends. We spent most of the afternoon in prospect park, just lounging mostly. Part of what made it fun was getting along so well, and so immediately, and so much without stress with my friend's friends. What a mind-numbing day I had. In the morning I proctored a test for 3 hours. Proctors aren't allowed to read or fool around on the computer or anything. I just sat there. Five. count them. five days of teaching. Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Monday, Tuesday. I am too ready to go. I am getting impatient and grumpy with my students. They are impatient to be done with the year too, and it's making them act out. It's a bad situation all around, but we will make it anyway.

I finally got a call-back. I also fully decided to go to NYC. tomorrow I have a phone interview with a person at the School for Democracy and Leadership. What's with the names?
