It seems some people don't like the idea of the Doctor and Rose taking care of/raising children due to the lifestyle.

But how about pets? Can they have a pet? :D

Would the Doctor and Rose battle it out between a dog and a cat? Would a hedgehog win? And would it come with them on adventures?

(Maybe they could get a van and a talking dog...)

Cloen might suffer some sort of identity crisis and decide that he's the exact opposite the Doctor and want to get a cat, only to find that the Donna part of him is dreadfully allergic. So, after that they could get a dog, but Rose finds it sitting in front of the closet one day with him cowering inside, and takes him back. :( The fish all die after they forget to feed them--Rose says they ran away to save his poor human heart. The hedgehog loves Cloen, but when he decides to let it into their bed, he also 'runs away.'

In the end, he makes two pet rocks after watching Decoy Bride and deciding they were too cute not to love. And, he buys a I <3 Rocks T-shirt to make it official.

LOL a pet seems even less logical than a kid. Like with a kid you could maybe almost convince me why they might want one in some AU where they are okay with settling down. But a pet? IDK MAN, dogs are a lot of work. Even if they had fish they'd have to get someone to take care of it if they went away for a while.

How about an owl that flies around with them? They seemed pretty self-sustaining in Harry Potter.

Maybe Tony can get a pet and they can babysit it and Tony sometimes when they feel broody. And then return it to its rightful and responsible owners later.
