In the midst of the most joyous time of year, Americans have been riddled with deaths. Although I know that James Brown and Gerald Ford have died, someone a little closer to me is getting all of my attention. The flag flying outside my house is at half staff today for my good friend Andrew Nelson

i know this is late...but hopefully this will ease your mind.

-according to the army...andrew did die instantly. and i'm going to believe them because i don't want to think about it any other way. he died doing what he loved and he would not have had it any other way.

-thanks for posting such a beautiful post about him. he truly will be remembered a hero.
