Good point. If Bush loses the election, he'll have a couple months to set it up for Kerry to continue to support his same policies. Whatever way you cut it, Skull and Bones wins!
Hey, I saw that you and I were mentioned in the same journal post in frelsun's journal. Then I saw that you live in MI! I do too, I live in Sterling Heights (northern burb of D-town).
I am also voting yes and everyone is like "but education!!!!!" and I'm just like...okay, let's have casinos in places where they are not welcome by the people who live around them. But you know all about that.
yeah that makes me sick too. Im willing to bet that less than 5% of the tax money from lotteries and casion's actually go to the schools. and the other 95% more than likely goes to administrative overhead.
in my eyes (if proposal one passes), if their proposal to place a casino here and there is overwhelmingly positive for a given community, then im sure the electorate would vote for it.
but to not let voters decide on something that would greatly affect their community is just facist.

Ever true if you are talking about Bush or Kerry.
I am a little apprehensive too, I fear Bush is not going to hand over power easily. His dad may have, but he is not his dad.
