I went to the dr yesterday, lost 9.8lbs in 4 weeks. YAY for me! Alas, also had another medical issue that required an injection *in the keister yet & a course of antibiotics. But 9.8 lbs!

Due to my visit back to NY last month, I only lost 2 lbs last month. Given that I probably gained 6 lbs while I was there *damn you Baily's Irish Cream* I think I did pretty damn good ( Read more... )

I've been on this diet about 3 weeks now and I've lost about 18 lbs. It would have been more, but along with a lovely bouquet of flowers for Valentine's Day, I got a HUGE heart shaped box of chocolate and as we all know, no woman can resist a heart shaped box of chocolate. :( I also got a new bike so I've been riding around the neighborhood. The way it was covered on the news & the way people were running around, you'd think Chicken Little was right & the sky was indeed falling. I have to admit, it was snowing pretty hard for a couple of hours, but nothing was really sticking, just a few flakes here & there. That said, the south is weird. Its supposed to rain on Sunday & due to the cold of the north dipping down, we may get some wet snow mixed in with the rain. Not even a dusting, just possibly the occasional wet flake. The way people are talking about it, the way the news is covering it, you'd think Armageddon was upon us! The decorating has begun! I hope to be fully decorated by the end of January. Gotta love those after Christmas sales! Have cash, will buy! And paint. The curtains & drapes are custom order.
