You know, after doing this, I realised that the entire show is written like fanfic. They obviously love the L. Frank Baum's stuff, and the mythology is really interesting, but so much is tacked on for the sake of tacking on, especially the really long D&D-style journey to find the damn Emerald. I wish they had a fiercer editor who had the guts to throw out stuff, or a tighter script.

Plotwise, holy crap, essentially the Queen let the OZ fall into ruin for 15 years just so DG could grow a spine and come back to hold hands with her sister.
