Iceland is a beautiful place! The air is super clean, fresh, and cold!! It makes me homesick for WI. Its very Scandinavian in its culture. The look, feel , and food remind me a lot of Minnesota and parts of WI, especially Door County. This is also making me homesick. The people are friendly but not overly. Definitely not Ireland. I got back onto the Appalachian Trail today!! I hiked the destroyed mountains overlooking Palmerton, PA. The town's zinc smelting plants destroyed all of the vegetation on the moutain ridge in the early 1900's. I started a new project yesterday with a company that makes the reactive parts to catalytic converters (yeah, I know, its exciting as hell). It was so nice to be out of squeeky clean pharmaceutical companies for the first time in 20 years.
