i have suffered from them since the mere age of 19. a few years ago, i noticed that throwing up made the attack go away. i guess it was a "visual" that whatever was causing the attack was inside of me and getting the hell out. i seriously became borderline bulemic, it seems...BUT i don't get panic attacks anymore. if i ever feel like i'm "losing it", i just sit there or lay down on continuously repeat to myself in my head "yr gonna be ok yr gonna be ok don't let it phase you it's only temporary..." while breathing in and out slowly and at a steady pace. before you know it...no panic attack and yr back to normal!! then just go to the nearest bar and get yrself a stiff drink. a martini will do. something that works fast and will relax you as soon as it touched yr lips.
