Good Stuff

Gig number one with Scarlet's Well went pretty well.  We played to a small but friendly crowd in a basement bar in Manchester.  Crowd seemed happy, band was happy, I had afew fuck ups, but considering I'd only had two rehearsals and two weeks of practice I was happy to get through it in one piece, and I think I did more than that.  I wasn ( Read more... )

 Montreal has been amazing, I`ve met and stayed with lovely people, and had a good time just wandering around.  Everything here is so laid back, or maybe it just seems that way after New York.  I arrived just in tiem for the annual film festival that they have here, so a fair proportion of my time has been spent in the cinema.  I`ve also let go of ( Read more... )

Sunday night, Central Park, its cold and pissing it down.  Think Glastonbury with less mud.  I was there to see Rufus Wainwright, and this was my last night in NYC, the finale to my eight week stay there, so the weather was a bummer, but it didn't ruin it, in fact I enjoyed every minute of it.
