I'm wary of CK. I'm wary of Watcher, and glad that Spike is as well.
and the spander scene at the end. you broke my heart and then stitched it all back together again. spike's insecurity and loneliness is a *tangible* thing. gah. I really love their relationship.

Spike and Xander are a great team, but everybody needs as many good friends as possible (just ask Buffy!).

Still haven't made my mind up about Watcher.
I actually can see why this took a while. You worked on the theme, with Xander feeling more relaxed in the company of ordinary men. Spike and Xander's passion continues to grow, but at a slow burn. Two tired men who wanted comfort, which was lovely.
