It was a good, good night. I had to be across town delivering a TV, but thankfully the Bruins waited until the minute I got back in the house to score the first goal. I was recording the whole thing in HD, so I may have to revisit those first few moments just to drink it all in.

Marchand and Bergeron were spectacular, but Timmy Thomas was simply inhuman. The only missing piece of the pie was Recchi going Bobby Orr and not denting the twine. But that would've been too perfect.

This is Recchi's third cup, and he rung up 3 assists in game 6, so I don't think he minds. I was pulling for a Bergeron hat trick, after the abuse he took on every face-off this series
