Internet is back, finally - three and a half weeks after it died.  It is shiny and huggable, and Eithil is happy.

Internet broken.

Eithil grumpy.

Eithil is the proud owner of a Thorntons chocolate bunny with an evil grin.

His name...shall be Nibbles.

And he is soon to be earless. (Which is like being 'armless, only, well, not.  With this guy's grin, one would never describe him as harmless.)

Today we saw the Fundamental Theorem of Algebra proved...as a corollary to another theorem.

It was also noted in Algebra today that, unless explicitly stated, from now on we would only be looking at rings for which 1 is not equal to 0.

Last week we saw a proof that 0x = 0.

I love being a mathematician :D
