You could always make CDs and give them to someone who would be able to trade them on your behalf.

Not that Dagon knows of. It's a good idea none-the-less, and more than one person and/or lesser-diety can think of it. :) Dagon has been discussing this idea since he began the infamous Milkshake Parties though, he just actually wants to see if he can get people to participate...

... so far everyone is rather ho-hum. Hmmm... Maybe if Dagon offered to bring free booze for the underaged, then everyone would be all-balls-out about it.

yeah, the night xj and i came to java with you over the summer, we were discussing possible themes for future parties, and she said something along the lines of a cd mix party.

i, for one, am totally into the idea. i will definitely be there with elaborately decorated and compiled mixes for the swapping. or whatever.

i'll do it if you do it?

Okay, so lots of you landbreeders have said that the CD swap is a tremendously great idea. However, while there has been lots of support, there has been a little less participatory activity than Dagon was hoping for. Lots of people are traveling with family or are being lazy or are busy breeding themselves. Et cetera.

Anyway, so here is Dagon's plan. We are going to reschedule this to being after colleges are out for Winter Break. That way people won't be doing as many "family things". Yes, that means that you'll just have to wait for Dagon's mix, titled "Teh Engrish Teaker", but you'll still get to unwrap it for Christmas time.

Ok, so now we need to vote. Dagon has recently learned that some colleges don't get off until the day before the day before Christmas Eve. WTH? That's the 22nd for those of you with no internal calendars. Anywho, the choices then become either doing the CD thing BEFORE the Winter Solstice, on Saturday the 17th, or AFTER the Solstice on the 7th of January.

Please let Dagon know what works best for you soon because he wants to make some flyers and get this thing done. ;) Plus, he knows that all of you REALLY want to have some German rap in your CD players.

Okay, so a couple of people told Dagon what they wanted. That, coupled with the fact that Dagon is going to be in Richmond Virginia on the 17th helping in a movie production that includes kung-fu and zombies means that the CD party will be on January 7th, 2006.

Note that Dagon will change the header of this post to reflect the changes. Note also that Dagon will make another post when the date gets closer as well as add some bullitins on HisSpace.
