Went to see The Wedding Singer musical at the theatre. It was amazing, I recommend everyone sees it; especially if you have a soft-spot for cheesy 80s-style music ^^ 3 Posts in one day...clearly paying for this account has prompted me to post more.

I've been trying to update my OpenSUSE installation from 10.2 to 10.3. Doing so seems to have deleted the boot manager, so I can't boot into Linux at the moment.

I'm gonna try re-running the installation and see if that recreates the boot manager. Of course, if Windows wasn't so badly written, and cope could with dual-booting itself, this wouldn't ( Read more... )

My PC has decided that switching on is too much of a drain for it to bother doing it. Seems the PSU may have exploded.

A new PSU is on the way, but until it arrives on Sat I can't use my PC.

This means no WoW...

It occurs to me that Microsoft have, on occasion, come up with decent software. For example, I am currently using Windows Live Writer to produce this post. It's a simple piece of software, all it does is provide a GUI for editing blog posts.

But here's the trick. It works, and it's actually nicer than the default web-based LJ interface.
