Half of a mod post, half of me being irritating. Again.

Hello guys. Lemme just get straight to the point of this post:

Please DO NOT upload any Aitsu no Daihonmei chapters onto Mangafox, Manga Traders, Manga-whatever-other-online-existing-site-that-exists because this is Zodiac Translation's request, and we don't want them being uploaded randomly to other sites. This community complies with their request ( Read more... )

it's kinda worries me when there's removal of members since i'm kind of some sleepy member, it's not that i intend to but i just can't help it >///<;
i just hope that this comm will always remain the same and i'm TOTALLY grateful for that <3 well, take care and good luck :D

Nah, this stays this way. :3 I won't just simply remove anyone because I feel like it, LOL. That's being unfair to a lot of people. :\ Especially for members who seem to have a lot of real life, and only the net is their solace at times when they're free. :D

This message is long and there are a lot of people who are too lazy to read it and will skip it. I think it would also help if you post a shorter version here (maybe one dated so that it is always at the top?) and on the profile page?
Something like "People can come here and join our community so please do not post the scanlations elsewhere. This is why:" and link to this longer message. I don't know. I think what you're saying is completely reasonable. It's not like this is a closed community. The "but we want to share with other fans" makes absolutely no sense in this situation.

It wouldn't matter how long or short the message is, because there will always be someone that really doesn't care what the scanlator(s) wishes. Especially if they are under the notion that because what the scanlators do is illegal there is no real reason they shouldn't do as they please, too.

So I say let her release what she needs to say because in this sort of situation there is nothing much they can but that. :(

I wasn't saying that she should take this down or something. It was just a suggestion for a second way to spread the message. If they have their rationale clearly contradicted right in front of them, it will cause an internal conflict that could potentially make them rethink their decision.
Then there are those who have no rationale and are instead merely vindictive. Hopefully none of those kinds of people are here.

I never said that she should take it down, though. Just pointed out that whether the message was long or short there are people who won't even bother with it all.

"Hopefully none of those kinds of people are here.

But they are here. The posts with the scans are locked so you have to be a member here. :(

I was totally thinking of that, but I dunno what to do. :O If we gather enough people for another event, then perhaps it's possible. :P

Oh so annoying when people do that - It is not like people can not join the comm if they want to read it! Why are they doing this?

Sorry to hear that someone did not respect your/Zamas/Zodiac's wishes. Like you said, accessing your group is easy, so I don't understand why people have to disrespect the "don't upload anywhere" request.
So good to hear you don't plan on purging members! It's EXACTLY like you said: Some groups out there are waaaaay overdoing it and that's just unfair to innocent members. What's the point of purging a huge mass of members when probably just one or two people are the culprits?? Glad to know you're reasonable and not overreacting like certain other groups. Thank you for this.
