Half of a mod post, half of me being irritating. Again.

Hello guys. Lemme just get straight to the point of this post:

Please DO NOT upload any Aitsu no Daihonmei chapters onto Mangafox, Manga Traders, Manga-whatever-other-online-existing-site-that-exists because this is Zodiac Translation's request, and we don't want them being uploaded randomly to other sites. This community complies with their request ( Read more... )

How frustrating to find a few members can't even obey simple rules. Is it so hard? Many sites such as these are for members to share within the community and not outside. It punishes those members who have respect for the group and all that they have done.

I'm sorry to read this. Some people just don't understand the meaning of words when they read something. Like 'don't share outside of a community'.
But a lot of people respect your work and follow your rules, so I hope this thing won't upset you so much!! I hope things like this won't happen again.

Has there been another case of that sharing (outside of the community) recently? I'm honestly sorry to hear that.
I think I might know what caused this. Have you seen that on mangafox there were two new chapters (scanlated by you) released? As I'm a member of the mangafox community, I contacted mangafox about this, but there has been no reply or reaction to this. I'm really sorry I couldn't do more ): The contributor wasn't named (n/a), so I couldn't reach the person in question.

Seriously, how difficult is it to just READ THE RULES AND ABIDE TO THEM. It's not like it's an inconvenience to just NOT upload scanlations anywhere else.

I'm really glad you're not purging members, and I'm really so sorry, because in LJ, I'm seriously so lazy that as soon as I'm not fagiling like CRAZY over something, I don't comment much. I want to really, really apologize t you for this unforgivable laziness >.< I promise I'll be more active rom now on.

Good luck to you and I hope there's no other occurrence like this!

^^;; As it is, yes.

The volunteer mods (basically normal users turned mods) are not at fault since they have recently been stripped of powers to delete chapters off from the database, and only a few of the real admins, AKA the bosses are around. I've PM'd one of them but no response, but the volunteer mod I spoke to apologized about it. :P

And ahaha, no don't worry. I'd rather be drawing in members with their willingness to stick around not only for chapters but randomly to stay tuned to some matters, rather than be restrictive and place rules to make lives difficult. xD;;

I see... that kinda sucks D: But at least it's good to hear that this plea wasn't just randomly ignored!

I know what you mean. There were/are certain communities who deleted a long list of members and made a bunch of rules that I felt don't really help. Like, at all. In contrary, I was - not offended - but rather annoyed by this, so much that I didn't join the community after all. It might just be me (as, to my shame, I'm a really difficult person sometimes D:), but I hate such things like keeping a quota at how often you comment and deleting members if they are not up to standards. I don't like to be forced to something like that. I like your community very much in that it's a really "free" one and you bother with things out of your own will and enjoyment than out of a misguided feeling of force :)

Anyway, I hope you are successful with that matter! I'll keep my eyes open for similar cases. Best of luck! :)

:) Nope. There have been a few volunteer mods at the forums being very nice. A ton of people get the misconception and blame the mods there for being assholes, but tbh it's the admin behind it who has the power, and the volunteer ones are stuck in between. :\ I know this since I talk to one...xD;;

...I think I know which (recent) comm you might be referring to. ^^;; You and I are both in it (see profile, haha) and I do plan to leave since I don't plan on taking any releases from what they are doing. The only reason why I'd delete a person from the community is only when he/she has broken an important rule, like bashing another, trolling, flaming or sharing things without permission. I will never remove due to inactivity, because I just think it's unfair. :\

Aaaaand best of luck to you for A levels! You can do it. :D I did IB, so I understand the pain of finishing that last step before uni...
